Workshopweek 2010

The day started with guest speakers giving introductions about electric transport. After this little welcome talk we were all taken to our own workshop by the guest speaker we were assigned to.
In our group of exactly 20 people, we received some extra information about earlier electrical vehicle designs of our mentor, Kikuo Emoto from Japan. These innovative designs were an inspiration for the next assignment we were given, due on thursday. We got divided into 5 groups of 4 in which each of the members received a function in the team: responsible for PR, model-making, sketching and CAD-design. We are meant to design a type of electrical vehicle for the future with the given technology. After a little brainstorm in our team and discussion of planning, the first workshop day was finished.
